Summary
Description
In 1740, three years after the magnificent Karlskirche - St. Charles' Church was finished, the Italian composer Antonio Vivaldi made the move to Vienna. Unfortunately, Vivaldi's time in Vienna was marked by financial struggles. Tragically, he passed away on 28 July 1741 and was laid to rest at Karlskirche. Unlike Mozart's tomb, Vivaldi's final resting place was not able to be maintained for future generations to visit.
Experience Vivaldi's timeless concertos first-hand with this ticket, which allows you to immerse yourself in the world of thunderstorms, ice cracks, bird songs, barking dogs, hunting scenes, and other awe-inspiring impressions depicted in his groundbreaking 'Four Seasons'.
